How can we have conversations with new people about things that matter?Break the trend of deep conversation only happening in like-minded circles. With the Good Brunches Facilitator’s Guide, people with varied backgrounds and experiences are brought together to share perspectives of common themes such as hope, justice, and tolerance. The aim of Good Brunches is to take a disparate group of people with the common denominator being they all want to “do good” and over several brunches create cohesion, a shared vision, enthusiasm, and motivation to consider how they as a group might change the world.Good Brunches can be held in two parts. Part one considers a number of values and themes to doing and seeing good. Part two gets participants to consider real issues and see if there is anything they want to or can do about them. The final session evaluates what has been achieved, learned and what the group is still eager to do more of.
