There is widespread recognition that the future of Christianity in the US requires a new kind of leader. Denominations, seminaries and networks are experimenting with new forms of training to equip these leaders. This report captures the learning and reflection from the innovative Change Makers Project, a partnership between Wesley Theological Seminary and Baltimore-Washington Methodist Conference supported by RootedGood. Not only does this report highlight ways in which similar programs can learn from this experience, it also makes the case for an exciting new role for denominations and networks in equipping new and emerging leaders.
