Technical Administrative Assistant

RootedGood exists to equip churches, leaders, and church-related institutions with resources and processes that build confidence and capacity as we imagine and become something new for the good of the world. 

Our Work

We’re on a mission to equip leaders and churches with the resources and processes they need to build their confidence and capacity as we collaborate to help the Church imagine and become something new for the good of the Other. Our primary resources are currently the Good Futures Accelerator Course and our How To Guides that help churches align money and mission, design and launch social enterprise, and use their buildings and land for good in their communities. We also do bespoke design and consulting, convening leaders in the wider ecosystem, and envision new solutions for social good.

PRIMARY ROLE

The Technical Administrative Assistant (TAA) plays a central role in the RootedGood organization. The TAA will provide technical and other administrative support for RootedGood and members of the RootedGood team. This is a full-time, non-exempt, remote position that can be carried out from anywhere in the eastern or central time zones in the United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

The TAA will work in partnership with RootedGood Directors and other team members to fulfill the following core mission objectives:

Specifically the TAA will work on:

Administer the back-end systems for the Good Futures Accelerator online course and serve as external help-desk

Success measured by level of engagement and satisfaction with communication reported by participants, zero to low technical downtime, and consistent delivery of course.

Support dynamic covenings and gatherings with remote and on-the ground administrative support

Success measured by positive ratings of gathering participants and smooth operation for RootedGood

Manage RootedGood databases and assist with other administrative support

Success measured by smooth operations, improved engagement with customers, and increased team efficiency. 

QUALITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

This position requires a person with experience and enthusiasm for working to support faith-based social good, willing to take initiative and work independently, is extremely detail oriented, has strong computer skills, and who can work collaboratively with a diverse constituency to achieve mission outcomes. 

CORE COMPETENCIES
All RootedGood staff are expected to demonstrate the following core competencies:

Compensation

$23-$25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

5% employer retirement contribution
